"I can't believe it took us so long to discover The Living Rooms, we've driven past so many times but never thought to go in. We searched the several shops in the city for a nice lamp today but couldn't find a thing! We went into The Living Rooms on our way back and found several beautiful, good quality items to choose from! We always felt that much of what is available in British stores for furniture and general homewares is very ordinary, boring and expensive for what it is. Living Rooms was a breath of fresh air, an Alladin's Cave of the unusual and at fantastic prices... you can buy four or five really different lamps for example, for the price of one in most department stores. The fact that they are fair trade as well is an added bonus.
We return again and again because the variety is so good, from small ornaments to larger pieces of furniture and great whether you are buying for your own home or gifts for friends. If you don't want your home to look like most other British living rooms, then you must explore here. I have always recommended clients to visit too, whether they are dressing their homes to sell or have just bought a home and need to make it feel their own quickly, this is the place to come. You will make your home what you want it to be buying here in a fraction of the time it would take buying through high street stores.
Jill, Stephen and their team are so friendly and helpful, always there to greet you with a cup of coffee - probably like you, it's this kind of service that makes a difference and adds to the overall experience.
I see lots of homes all around the country, from country cottages to the palatial and many things you will find at Living Rooms would not be out of place in either. Whether your home is large or small, there's something here for you.
