SJS FURNITURE

This company is based in Norfolk and we have been buying our mango wood furniture from them since 2006. They are an English brother and sister team, with the brother handling the import side of the business. Caroline, the sister, lives in Java and is the designer. She designs with the UK market and quality demands in very much in mind. The furniture pieces are hand made from solid timber which has been properly dried. There are no veneers used in this furniture.
SJS undertake to pay above wage rates to their employees, as well as providing health care insurance for them and their extended family. They are also involved in a variety of other community projects.
We also source interior pots from them. These are made by a workshop local to their furniture workshops.
